AI for hotels and hospitality

How Nidrosoft audits a hotel or inn: reservations, night audit, and the inbox a person still answers. Book a free audit.

Nidrosoft Team

AI for hotels and hospitality at Nidrosoft means sitting in the reservation inbox, the night audit, and the message a person still sends to a guest. We do not take a payment, change a rate, or tell a guest the room is ready if the housekeeper has not marked it. The audit maps hours. The build, if there is one, stays inside the PMS and mailbox you already pay for.

Key takeaways

  • We start with reservations, exceptions, and the night audit pack.
  • Method: Embed, Diagnose, Scope, Build, Own. Same as how we work.
  • A person still accepts anything that becomes a confirmation, a charge, or a room move.
  • We decline auto-posting rates and any write that opens a door without staff.
  • Book a free audit if a GM or ops lead can grant PMS or inbox read access.

Where the hours sit

A small hotel or inn still runs on a property management system, a channel inbox, and a night audit that someone finishes after the bar closes. Booking.com, Expedia, and the direct site all drop mail into the same pile. A guest asks for a late checkout. A reservation is missing a credit card. Housekeeping has not flipped the room the OTA already sold.

Those loops eat the morning. The GM already knows which one. They disagree with the front-desk lead about which one to fix first. That argument is what the audit ends.

What we sit in

We ask for the PMS, the shared reservations mailbox, and one week of exception tags. Cloudbeds, Opera, Mews, StayNTouch, or a cousin. Embed means we watch a real arrival day. Diagnose means we cost the repeats.

Public products on this site that sit next to messaging include Octana when a property needs a finished video from a short brief. That is media work, not a PMS. We will not describe it as a hotel OS.

The audit

Two weeks. We sit with the person who answers the inbox and the person who closes the night audit. We write the system of record, the operator, the inheritor, and the human gates. If nobody can approve a complimentary night, the map says so.

The packet is a ranked list. Hours on OTA exceptions. Hours on “is the room ready.” Hours on assembling the night pack. The first line might be “draft the late-checkout reply, send stays on the desk.” The first line might be “fix housekeeping marks before you buy software.” Both are usable.

What we identify

We look for forms that already exist: a reservation change template, a no-show note, a lost-and-found log. Those can be drafted. Open-ended guest recovery is not a form. It is the manager’s job.

A useful first system drafts the exception reply from the reservation record. A person still hits send. A useful second system lists rooms that the channel sold and housekeeping has not marked. Nobody auto-flips a room.

What we will not do

We will not take a card. We will not change a BAR without a person. We will not message a guest as if we were the night manager. We will not connect a lock system. If brand standards block vendors from the PMS, say that in the first email to cyriac@nidrosoft.com.

A request for a robot concierge with no inbox access gets a no. Seats-only work is training.

How Nidrosoft handles this

Embed at the desk. Diagnose the hours. Scope one queue. Build only if send and charges stay under staff. Own means the property can run the draft after we leave.

Nidrosoft has shipped 125 products and keeps 16 public. None of those 16 is a hotel PMS. The number that matters for you is whether this morning’s exceptions are answered before the first arrival.

Frequently asked questions

Do you replace the night auditor? No. We cut the retyping into the pack. The auditor still signs the night.

Can you work a restaurant or a small inn? If there is a repeating inbox and a person who can approve a send, yes. If the leftover is a new POS, that is not us.

What do we send to start? A redacted week of reservation exceptions and the name of the person who can comp a night. Book a free audit.

The leftover

Hospitality work is a queue with a guest in the lobby. We map the queue. We leave the lobby in a human’s hands. Write cyriac@nidrosoft.com or use the calendar on contact.
